             Hank Lerer

                        Executive Director and Shaliach Tzibur

                                                       Hank is a Cincinnati native. He attended Walnut Hills High School then graduated with a degree in 

                                                       Public Administration from Miami University Ohio. After working as operations manager for a local

                                                       food distributor he found his true niche as Synagogue Administrator – his love for congregants and

                                                       willingness to go the extra mile makes him invaluable. He has diligently worked to manage every

                                                       aspect of synagogue life for the past twnty-two years. It’s not surprising to see him changing a light                                                           bulb one moment and then leading Shacharit services the next. He couldn’t be prouder of his children

   and their accomplishments, his daughter Emily currently lives and works in LA, California and Max     is working at a firm in Chicago, IL.

Chava Vidal

Youth and Family Program Director

Chava moved to Cincinnati by way of Israel and Colorado, though her roots lie on the East Coast.

She holds degrees in Early Childhood Education and Comparative Religion and has worked for

Jewish communities for more than twenty years. She spends her days planning a variety of

events in her position of Program Director and getting to know our incredible congregants and their

stories. She recently returned to school to pursue a career in nursing and when she is not at the

Synagogue she works as a Hospice Nurse.
