FAQ

  • What should I expect?

You'll find a warm, welcoming congregation, meaningful worship, and a community that is happy to help you feel at home, even if it's your first time in a synagogue. P.S. expect to leave with new friends!

  • Where do I park?

Convenient parking is available on-site. We are an ADA friendly building and have security present at all events and services.

  • What should I wear?

Come as you are. Some congregants dress more formally while most prefer business casual or casual attire. Wear what makes you feel comfortable.

  • Will someone greet me?

Yes! Our greeters are happy to welcome you, answer questions, help you find a seat, and introduce you to members of our community. Our Hamilton County Officer will also welcome you into our secure building.

  • Do I need to know Hebrew?

Not at all. Our services include both Hebrew and English, and prayer books provide translations and transliterations to help everyone participate.

  • Can I bring children?

Absolutely! Children are always welcome, and we encourage families to worship together. We also offer a wide array of multigenerational programs and activities throughout the year.

  • What happens after services?

Following many of our services, we gather for Kiddush—a time to enjoy refreshments, conversation, and friendship. It's a wonderful opportunity to meet members of the congregation.

  • How long is a typical service?

Friday evening services typically last about an hour. Shabbat morning services generally last about two to two-half hours and Thursday morning minyan is usually one hour followed by breakfast.
